The 28th Pet Fair Asia opened in Shanghai on August 19. Tianyuan Pet(Petstar), a China-based fabricante de productos para mascotas with nearly 30 years of industry experience, presented its brands and product portfolio at Booth W5F51, covering pet food, daily supplies, grooming and hygiene, travel, toys, and other areas of pet care.
The exhibition also marked the launch of Tianyuan Pet’s 2026 Ecosystem Strategy, introduced during the company’s strategy presentation and partner meeting held on the first day of the show.
Under the theme “A New Chapter for Pet Care, A New Future for the Ecosystem,” the event brought together industry organizations, business partners, customers, and media representatives.
A Broader View of the Pet Industry
At the event, Xue Yuanchao, Chairman of Tianyuan Pet, discussed changes in the pet market and consumer demand.
Pet products are increasingly becoming part of everyday lifestyles. Consumers are paying more attention to the overall experience of living with pets, rather than purchasing products as isolated items.
Based on this change, Tianyuan Pet introduced its “Pet Economy+” strategy.
The concept extends beyond traditional pet supplies and looks at potential connections between pets and areas such as technology, IP, sports, culture, fashion, commercial spaces, communities, tourism, and urban development.
For Tianyuan Pet, the focus is on creating more opportunities around pet-related consumption while continuing to develop its existing product and manufacturing capabilities.
Manufacturing and Supply Chain Remain at the Core
The new strategy is built on Tianyuan Pet’s existing capabilities as a pet products manufacturer, including product development, manufacturing, and supply chain management.
After nearly 30 years in the pet products industry, the company has developed a broad product portfolio and manufacturing network. At Pet Fair Asia, its booth brought together products covering multiple aspects of pet care and daily life.
Tianyuan Pet currently operates nine manufacturing facilities, supported by warehousing and supply chain resources.
This network supports product development and production for different markets and customer requirements, including OEM and ODM projects for international brands, retailers, and other B2B customers. It also provides the foundation for Tianyuan Pet’s OEM and ODM business, allowing international brands, retailers, and other business customers to source products across multiple categories.
The company sees manufacturing capability as an important starting point for its next stage of development.
Expanding Industry Connections
Tianyuan Pet is also increasing its involvement in industry initiatives and partnerships.
The company has worked with the Pet Industry New Investment and Research Institute on the “Tianyuan Cup” Dream Showcase, providing a platform for new ideas and projects in the pet industry.
The company’s activities also extend to industry research, investment, innovation, and the development of pet-friendly scenarios.
At the Pet Fair Asia event, Tianyuan Pet joined the Human-Pet Friendly Ecosystem Coexistence Initiative together with the Pet Industry New Investment and Research Institute, Pet Industry White Paper, and GiGwi.
The initiative focuses on developing pet-friendly environments, supporting industry standards, sharing resources, and encouraging cooperation among companies and organizations in the pet sector.
Industry Partners Join the Discussion
Liu Lang, President of the Pet Fair Asia Association and Deputy Director of the National Companion Animal (Pet) Standardization Technical Committee, also spoke at the event.
He noted that pet companies are taking on broader roles as the industry develops, including contributing to industry standards and creating better environments for people and pets.
The launch of the Human-Pet Friendly Ecosystem Coexistence Initiative was one of the key outcomes of the event, bringing several industry participants together around these areas.
Two PFA Awards for Tianyuan Pet
The event also included the announcement of the 2026 PFA Awards.
Tianyuan Pet received two awards:
- Annual Human-Pet Friendly Pioneer Award
- Annual Chinese Culture Brand Award
The awards recognized the company’s work in human-pet friendly initiatives and brand development.
A New Stage for Tianyuan Pet
The 2026 strategy builds on Tianyuan Pet’s existing business rather than replacing it.
Manufacturing, product development, supply chain management, brand development, and international business remain important parts of the company’s operations. The new ecosystem strategy adds a broader focus on industry partnerships and new pet-related scenarios.
At the end of the event, Jiang Lingbing, Vice Chairman of Tianyuan Pet, said the company would continue working with its partners and contributing to the development of the pet industry.
The launch at Pet Fair Asia gives Tianyuan Pet a clear direction for the next stage: continue developing pet products and manufacturing capabilities while working with more companies and organizations across the industry.
For a pet products manufacturer serving international markets, these capabilities remain central to Tianyuan Pet’s long-term development.
Tianyuan Pet will continue to develop pet products and manufacturing solutions for customers around the world, while exploring new opportunities across the evolving pet industry.
